When visiting the Cygnet Market make a day of it. Discover our wonderful D'entrecasteuax Peninsula (Channel area to locals) part of the South's Huon Trail with a picture postcard views around almost every corner. Go on a breathtaking round trip via Kingston (on ever a little longer via Taroona) through Margate, Snug, Woodbridge, Middleton and Gordon to Cygnet.
Visit our market, take a break, Cygnet has three hotels, many little cafes including the well known  Red Velvet Lounge art and craft shops a local museum and much more. Return to Hobart via Huonville, Mt Wellington or Kingston.
Realizing that you have missed a lot the first time around you can return to our market many times as the round trip must be one of, if not the most picturesque day drive out of Hobart. (No! In Tasmania)
Note: No log trucks between Kingston and Huonville.
